Today, L&R Precision Machining and Manufacturing proudly maintains some of the industry’s leading technologies within our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

Since 1997, L&R Precision Machining and Manufacturing has built a reputation for complex machining in exotic alloys with tight tolerances. We thrive on the challenges of intricate specifications and delight in ‘high-risk’ jobs. We’re capable of meeting tolerances of +/- .0002” in a range of hard-to-machine metals, including but not limited to:

A History of L&R Precision Machining and Manufacturing
For more than 27 years, we have dedicated ourselves to providing our clients with the highest level of customer service, ensuring absolute satisfaction and unparalleled quality.
- 1997Allen Leath and Dan Raby founded L&R Precision Tooling with a modest 3,600-square-foot machine shop and a 5-man team.
- 2011Relocated to the current 57,800-square-foot facility with a team of 38 experienced professionals.
- 2014Invested in the Fastems FMS to reduce lead times and production costs.
- 2015Upgraded our Quality Management System (QMS) to AS9001D-certified statutes.
- 2019We began our Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) and became ⅓ employee owned.
- Jan. 2023Expanded our inspection capabilities to include Contour Tracing.
- 2023Renamed L&R Precision Machining & Manufacturing and added the Contour Tracing to our inspection capabilities.
